Our Shipping Commitment
At Freedom First Ammo, we strive to support your 2nd Amendment rights by providing reliable, compliant, and fast shipping. To keep our prices competitive and maintain the highest level of safety, we ship all ammunition via UPS or FedEx Ground to the contiguous 48 United States.
General Requirements
- Age: You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase handgun ammunition and 18 years of age or older for rifle/shotgun ammunition.
- Legal Compliance: By placing an order, you confirm that you are not prohibited by Federal, State, or Local law from purchasing or possessing ammunition.
- Address: We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international locations.
State-Specific Requirements
Certain states have specific laws regarding the direct shipment of ammunition.
If you live in one of the following areas, please follow the instructions below:
- California: Ammunition must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) or a registered Ammunition Vendor. Please provide your preferred dealer’s info in the order notes or via email.
- Connecticut: We require a copy of your Carry Permit, Sales & Secondary Permit, or Long Gun Eligibility Certificate, along with a valid Driver’s License.
- Illinois: We require a copy of your FOID card and a matching State ID/Driver’s License. We cannot ship to the City of Chicago.
- New Jersey: We require a copy of your Firearms Purchaser ID (FPID) for all handgun ammunition.
- New York: Ammunition must be shipped to an FFL or a registered “Seller of Ammunition.”
- Washington D.C. / Massachusetts / Alaska / Hawaii: We unfortunately cannot ship to these locations at this time.
How to Submit Documentation
If your state requires documentation, please email a clear photo or scan of your credentials to support@freedomfirstammo.com.
Please include your Order Number in the subject line. Once your documents are on file, you won’t need to resubmit them for future orders!
